Show obituaries Minnie Robinson , ' y Lester Peterson Lester David Peterson, 83, died Sunday, Sept. 16, 1984 at his home in Lehi following a lingering illness. He was born Jan. 20, 1901 in Lehi, to Andrew and Sarah Emma Webb Peterson. He married Julie Gladys Phillips. She died June 13, 1958. He married Ruth Brunson Stephenson, June 28, 1962 in Salt Lake City. He worked as a foreman for Utah Poultry Producers. He was a member of the LDS CHurch and served in the bishopric, as a High Counselor, Priest advisor, adult Aaronic Priesthood Peterson, J. Glade Peterson, and Charles M. Stephenson, all of Salt Lake City; Malcolm B. Stephenson, Costa Mesa, Calif.; Mrs. George (Shirley) Tripp, Lehi; Mrs. Morris A (Kalhryn) Goates, Murray; 43 grandchildren; 86 great grandchildren; one brother, Virgil Peterson, Lehi. Services will be Thursday, Sept. 20, at noon in the Lehi First Ward Chapel, 200 W. 200 S. Friends may call at Wing Mortuary, "118 E. Main, Lehi, 7-9 p.m. and Thursday until 11:30 a.m. prior to services. Burial will be in the Lehi City Cemetery. Casey Watkins. Honorary pallbearers were Jim Loock and Lee Colby. Minnie Johanna Price R0binson, 64, died fuesday.Sept.il, 1984. She was born Oct. 6, ,920 in Deweyville, the daughter of George W t' Tr and Monida Johanna Gardner Price. . ghe married Leo Mummer in Tremonton. He died April 18, 1972. She married Jay S. Robinson Nov. 7, 1979 in Us Vegas, Nev. She was a member of the pleasant Grove Eagles 3372 and held many offices in the I organization. She was a I Utah State Trustee and president of the Ladies I Auxiliary for the I Eagles. She was ! secretary of the Retired I Eagles Club. I She is survived by her j husband, Pleasant I Grove; one daughter, ! Mrs. Lee (Kim) Colby, Pleasant Grove; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; her father, also Pleasant Grove; two step-sisters, Mrs. Nolan (Linda) Goodwin, American Fork; Mrs. Richard (Jean) Stagg, Pleasant Grove; one step-brother, George W. Price, Jr., Orem. Services were held Friday, Sept. 14, at the Anderson and Son Mortuary Chapel, American Fork. Burial was in the Pleasant Grove City Cemetery. Services were under the direction of Dan L. Preece, counselor in the Pleasant Grove First Ward Bishopric. Pallbearers were Richard Stagg, Dan Burnside, Dennis Burnside, Dean Powell, Dick Watkins, and advisor, as a stake missionary and home teacher. Survivors include his wife, Lehi; five sons, two daughters : Keith L. Peterson, Rexburg, Idaho; Kenneth D. Larry Kleinman Marvin Roberts 5th Ward. He is survived by his parents, Lehi; three brothers and two sisters, Kevin Klein-man, Klein-man, Riverton; Scott Kleinman, Pleasant Grove; Jeffrey Kleinman and Mrs. Robert (Karen) Turner, both Lehi; Patricia Kleinman, Kearns; 11 nieces and nephews; grandparents, Mrs. Norma Sanders, LaVerkin, Utah; and Mrs.. Fern Kleinman, Toquerville, Utah. Burial was in the Lehi City Cemetery. Funeral services for Larry A. (Abbey) Kleinman, 26, of Lehi, who died Sept. 11, 1984, in an industrial accident near Bluff, Utah, were held Saturday, Sept. 15, at the Lehi 5th Ward LDS Chapel. He was born Nov. 6, 1957, in Henderson, Nev., to Don M. and Carolyn Sanders Kleinman. He graduated from Lehi High School and LDS Seminary, and served an LDS Mission in the Florida, Tampa, Mission. He worked in Honorary pallbearers were Paul Proctor and Johnathan Jense. The family prayer was given by Cory McBride. The prelude and postlude were played by Cheri Hansen. The invocation was by Blaine Young. The life sketch was presented by Darwin Carter. Eldon and Lena Bartholomew sang "That Silver Haired Daddy . of Mine". Remarks were given by E. Dee Olpin. Roberts, I 61 Lindon, died Thursday, Sept. 13, 1984 J atDugway. He was born June 19, 1923, in Roosevelt to Brian and Laura Ethelyn Taylor Roberts. He married Mary Larsen June 4, 1949, in Roosevelt. They were later divorced. He was a member of the LDS Church. He attended schools in Roosevelt and spent his childhood days in the Roosevelt area. He was a veteran of World War II. He worked at Tooele Army Depot and Geneva Steel. Survivors include a daughter and two sons: Mrs. Verdi (Shirley) Schofield, Dugway; Tony Maren Roberts, Springville; Marvin D. Roberts, Lindon; his mother, St. George; one brother and six sisters: Earl T. Roberts, Pleasant Grove; Mrs. Bill (Verda) Blan-chard; Blan-chard; Mrs. Blaine (Meeta) Young, both of Roosevelt; Mrs. Elvin (Pearl) Jones, Mar-sville, Mar-sville, Calif.; Mrs. Richard (Mary Jane) Fillmore, Wash.; Mrs. Monte (Leora) Hampton, Hamp-ton, Lehi; and Mrs. Richard (Donetta) Ferguson, Orem. Services were held Saturday, Sept. 15 at the Olpin Family Mortuary. Burial was in the Pleasant Grove City Cemetery. Services were under the direction of Bishop Dale Gillman of the Lindon Second Ward. Pallbearers were Allen L. Searle, Sheldon J. Searle, David A. Searle, Richard K. Searle, Todd Holt and Jason Roberts. Lewis Brown Lewis "Shorty" Harton Brown, 83, died Saturday, Sept. 8, 1984. He was born Nov. 19, 1900 in Lehi to Charles Harton and Alice Mary Lewis Brown. He married Verneta Harding Jan. 16, 1922 in Provo. He worked at Ogden Arsenal, Hill Field and Streator Chevrolet. He was a member of the LDS Church. Survivors include his wife; one son, Wallace E. Brown, Litchfield Park, Ariz.; seven grandchildren; six great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by three sons: Lewis Harding, Wesley Eldon and Col. Keith E. Brown, U.S. Air Force. Services were held Wednesday, Sept. 12, in the Lehi City Cemetery. Nielsen Card of Thanks Violet Miller Violet Laursen Pace Miller, 86, died Saturday, Sept. 15, 1984, in American Fork. She was born June 17, 1898, in Salt Lake City to Hans A. and Petrea Jensen Laursen. She married Clarence D. Pace, Oct. 25, 1922 in Salt Lake City. He died Sept. 12, 1952. She married E.B. Miller Dec. 27, 1967 in Price: "'" She was an owner and operator of Pace's Sandwich Shop in Provo for many years. She lived in Price for 14 years and moved to American Fork in 1959. She was a member of the Elks Club. . " She is survived by her husband of Price.
