Show Committee Indicates That Plan to Unite With Southern Church Will Fail DBS MOINES, la.. May 15. Three bishops of tho Methodist Episcopal church wero elected today. Thoy aro Dr. Fred B. Fisher of Muncle, Ind., James E. Williams of New York and Charles E. Locke. Los Angeles, Cal. Announcement of their election was made tonight at the banquet. After tho announcement and tho taking of tho third ballot, tho ovo-ning'o ovo-ning'o program consisted of hoai-ing addresses of fraternal delegates from other churches. Bishop F. C. Koppart of Kansas City, brought a message from tho United Statc3 brethren church. The Presbyterian denomination denomina-tion was represented by Dr. Frank C. Dr. Herbert L. Wlllett, of Chicago, president of tho Chicago federation, fed-eration, represented tho federal council coun-cil of churches of Christ In America, speaking" of tho work of that body in co-ordinating the work of the different dif-ferent denominations.
