Show Deer Hunters' Ball I To Be Held Thursday, Oct. 20 Plans have been completed and tickets are now on sale for the annual Deer Hunters' Ball to be held this year on Thursday Thurs-day evening, Oct. 20 at the Armory, Ar-mory, under the sponsorship of the American Legion, Post No. 74. Members of the Legion are now selling tickets for the annual an-nual event for "one buck, fifty." Door prizes have ,becn lined up and the first prize of the eve-ing eve-ing will be a Model 721 Remington Reming-ton 30-06. In addition four other useful Itemd for hunters will be awarded to lucky ticket holders. In addition to the regular door prizes the drawing for the Junior Jun-ior Chamber of Commerce Jeep drive for Christmas funds, will be held at the dance, according to Legion Commander Milt fW'v. The Starllters orchestra will furnish the music for the eve ning and all patrons should be washing out those red shirts and lickets In preparation tor the dance and the hunt. |
