Show 1 Sat. Open House Honors Newlyweds Newlyweds Mr. and Mrs, Thomas Benson were honored at an open house on Saturday, Feb. 18 at the home of Mr, and Mrs. Arch 'Benson. The couple were married on Feb. 11 in a ceremony which took place in Norwalk, Calif. In the receiving line with the couple were Mr. and Mrs, Jay Benson, parents of the bridegroom; Mrs. Mary Hols-ton, Hols-ton, mother of the bride, of Norwalk, with Robin Graff as best man and the Misses Karen Kar-en Holston and Chris Benson. In charge of the gift room were Mrs. Lucille Bunn and" Mrs. Wanda Benson. Tom's, grandmother, Mrs. Fern Dunn o alt Lake City was in charge of refreshments and serving were friends of Chris-Benson, Chris-Benson, sister of the bridegroom. bride-groom. Mrs. Sara Bayles was at the guest book. Coming from out of town for the open house were Mrs. Holston and daughter Karen, of Norwalk; Mrs. Fern Dunn and Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Bayles Bay-les and family of Salt Lake City. gave them an opportunity to collect their thoughts and at that point the Rams put the press to their advantage, hitting hit-ting men down floor for timely baskets to gradually build up a lead. At one time they were out on lead by eight points but settled for six when they didn't go into a stall, and carried the game right down to the wire. Parowan got an assist when Lee Crosland, Eagle big man was called for three quick fouls trying to block Larry Smith's shots and had to sit out much of the game. As will be seen by the box score, all Ram players got into the scoring act with Smith hitting for 25 for the second week in a row. Wayne Stubbs was second sec-ond with 15 followed by Burt with 12, a good share of them from outside, which opened up the Millard defense Four of the Millard players got into the double figures but the balance bal-ance in scoring for the Rams provided the winning margin. mar-gin.
