BRUCE CORNELIUS Bruce Cornelius Claims Arlene Blake In June 29 Ceremony at Cedar Stake House Miss Arlene Blake, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lester Blake, Cedar City, became the bride of Bruce Cornelius, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Cornelius also of Cedar City on June 29. The Cedar West Stake House was the setting for the double ring ceremony and the wedding wed-ding reception which followed that same evening. Bishop Kent O. Hule-t officiated. The bride's dress was white satin floor-length with short sleeves. Her elbow length veil of brides illusion draped down gently from a crown of sequins. Her bouquet was red ros.es and white carnations. Maid of Honor was Miss Pam Owen and Misses Debbie Deb-bie Heyborne, Christine Cornelius, Cor-nelius, and Evelyn Cornelius were bridesmaids. They each carried a single rose. Best man was Robert Cornelius, Cor-nelius, and the ushers were Danny Williams, Howard Peterson, Kenneth Webster, Alan Olsen, Alan Blake, and Larry Milne. Mrs. Blake wore yellow and Mrs. Cornelius wore pink. They both had pink corsages. Mrs. Dallen Williams was at the piano during the wedding wed-ding ceremony. Serving of refreshments was done by Misses Charlotte Berry, Wendy Wood, Kathy Chidester, and Marilyn Mur-dock. Mur-dock. Helping in the kitchen were Mrs. Norman Esmeier, Mrs. Roger Chidester, and Mrs. James Anderson. The bride's going away costume cos-tume was a yellow dress with matching accessories. After a honeymoon in Las Vegas, Nev., the newlyweds have made their home in Cedar Ce-dar City. The bride attends Cedar High, and the bridegroom who is a graduate of Cedar High will attend CSU this fall. |
