Show . MARRIAGE ANNOUNCED . P Y ' 7i i -y -H Mr. and Mrs. EvElinn Adams announce the marriage of their daughter Colleen to Darwin S. Woodbury on Sunday, May 23rd. The ceremony was performed by Stake President David L. Sargent Sar-gent at a garden wedding at the home of the bride's parents. The couple stood before an altar al-tar banked with bridal wreath, carnations, and gladiolas, and the ceremony was performed in the presence of members of the families and close friends numbering num-bering thirty. The bride was lovely in a white street length suit with a corsage of pink carnations. Her attendant was Miss Donna Bird, who wore a dress of pink net with a corsage of red roses. Kent Hoyt acted as best man. A delightful buffett luncheon was served immediately after the wedding and was followed by a reception where the young couple received many useful and beautiful gifts. Serving in the giftroom were the Misses Nal-deen Nal-deen Cowley and LaRae Haight with Miss Jackie Leigh in charge of the guest book. The bride was a recent graduate grad-uate of the Branch Agricultural College where she was a member mem-ber of the Alpha Beta Sorority, and was named as alternate fqr the outstanding women student award. The groom, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Glen P. Woodbury, Is a student of the B. A. C. and a member of the Sigma Kappa Rho fraternity, He received the athletic award at the college. ' Immediately following the fe-ceptlon fe-ceptlon the young couple left for a honeymoon trip in Southern California after which they will make their home in Cedar City. |
