Show Leonard Berg, New Forest Employee, Arrives In Cedar City According to announcement made by Supervisor Albert Albertson, Leonard Berg has been assigned to fill the vacancy of Administration Assistant on the Dixie National For. est caused by the transfer of Howard How-ard C. Baker to the Mantl Forest with headquarters at Ephraim. Mr. Berg arrived In Cedar City last week from Ely, Nevada where he has filled a like position on the Nevada Forest. He Is a native of Murray and has been with the for. est service in various clerical and administrative capacities since 1933. His first assignment was on the Minidoka Forest with headquarters at Burley, Idaho. He was later assigned as-signed to the Wasatch forest with headquarters at Salt Lake City and has since filled the position of Administrative Ad-ministrative Assistant on the Minidoka Mini-doka forest at Burley, the Salmon Forest at Salmon. Idaho and the Nevada forest at Ely. Due to these many and varied assignments Mr. Berg comes to the Dixie well qualified qual-ified for the position to be filed here. He Is married and has two children, child-ren, ft daughter, Sylvia, and ft son, Richard. His wife Is the former Betta Anderson of Salt Lake City. The Dixie Forest staff la well pleased with Mr. Berg's assignment here, the Supervisor said, and wishes to welcome him and his family to the Dixie Forest. He feels sure that they will be an asset to the community com-munity as well as to the Forest Staff. |
