Show Former Cedar City Teacher Dies Of Heart Ailment Ether J. Stucki, 74, who taught school in Cedar City for 37 years, died of a heart ailment Sunday, July 14. Funeral services are being conducted in Santa Clara today to-day and burial will be in the Santa Clara City Cemetery. Mr. Stucki was born Nov. 18, 1893, in Santa Clara, a son of Christian and Mary Gubler Stucki. He married Verna Susette Leavitt Sept. 25, 1917, in St. George. She died June 2, 1951, and Mr. Stucki married Zetta Worthen July 23, 1959. He was a veteran vet-eran of World War I. He retired re-tired after teaching for 37 years in Cedar City and has engaged in farming since. Survivors include his widow, and the following sons and daughters: Shirl L., St George; Roland, England; Mrs. Clyde (Norma) Carlston, Vista, Vis-ta, Calif.; Mrs. John (Lor-vayne) (Lor-vayne) Bleak, Boulder City, Nev.; Mrs. Robert (Bonnie) McCall, Henderson, Nev. Also surviving are 15 grandchildren and the following brothers and sisters: Edwin, Mrs. Ed (Lu-la) (Lu-la) Tobler, Ivins: Lazell, Santa San-ta Clara; Merrill, St George; Mrs. Glen (Katie) Webb, Hurricane. |
