Show Easter Display. The custom of keeping or ct lebrating Faster Sunday is becoming quite prevel-ent prevel-ent throughout the world especially by the members of the Catholic Church. Many families have made it u rule to observe this day In litt lug style, hjf having hav-ing the children together and the house decorated with, chicks, eggs, rabbits and various Faster decorations. Fur tbi I occasion oc-casion the Riter Bros, big display window win-dow has been neatly dressed and presents pre-sents a pleasing appearance. IW electric lights, red, white and blue with now and then a green light have been placed in the window making a pretty border on each side and at t lu-base lu-base and back of the w indow. Between these lights are the decorations decora-tions which are artistically arranged to make the display one of Die best it Iran been our lot to gaze at. Mr. MalMr, the R. M. B Telephone Inspector, superintended the arrange ment of the lights ami the telephone line. Mr. Rostan and MUs HihiIIi show j ed their skill In placing the decorations. A telephone line with cupid making a date with a charmiug young lady is a feature of the dl. play . On this line are crowing rooster natural as life. A mirror mir-ror pond surrounded with grass and covered with ducks and geese under a reflector makes you think that you tire actually gasiug at a pond of pure water I All over the base of the window can be been, eggs, chicks, rabbits in various positions, hens, happy hooligaus, geese, ducks, ducklets, boats tilled with, chicks, rabbits, crowing roosters, etc. Iu the center is a large hare with a snare drum and seems to keep time to the crow ing of the roosters, cackle of the heus aud I quack of the ducks. It, is an excellent display and Is most appreciated when seen in the evening. M e feel certain thut the stores of lite state will have to get ip in the morning to out do this chow wludow. |
