Show ! OCCURRENCES AT OAK CITY W. R. Walker, Representative 1 Leltoy Walker and Lydie Roper left ' Sunday to attend school at Hinckley. Among the other Oak City students attending at-tending the M. S. A. are Miss Lucy Anderson, Loise Anderson, Don Anderson, An-derson, Maggie and Zella Nlelaon and Willis J. Lyman. These are not all who will attend, the Bishop said the number would reach fifteen if he himself him-self had to go. Saturday night the Mexican Orchestra Orches-tra played for a dance In our Gym. The tnusicale was without a doubt the best ever heard In this part of the country. They gave us a few pieces Sunday morning and departed for Lynndyl. Our district school starts next Monday Mon-day with Wm. Davis as principal and Miss Alice Deen of Heaver and Miss Jane Rawllnson as assistants. Four molasses mills are busy day and night making molasses. A good crop Is expected considering the dry weather we have been having. "If" we get some rain between now and next year there will be a big crop of dry grain next year, but without some rain It will no doubt continue to be dry. Clif Talbot has been -working In U-amlngton the past week, also Clarence Clar-ence Nielson has gone to work there. Thomas Talbot and wife attended the reception at Hinckley. Mrs. Christen Chrlstenson and Mrs. John Chrlstenson of Aurora, Sevier County were visiting relatives and friends In Oak City last week. |
