Judge Simeon E Baldwin, the Democratic nomlr.ee for governor of Connecticut, who has stated that bribery was used In the Republican tate convention, has openly challenged Charles A. Good win, the Republican nominee, to say how much his nomination cost. Judge Baldwin's challenge Is as follows: "I challenge Mr. Goodwin to make a public statement now, this week, of how much his nomination for governor gover-nor cost him or cost hie backers, whoever who-ever they may be cost In values paid or values pronv'sed. I have already made my statement In public, now let him be equally explicit I ask hlm to do it and do it at once so that we can have lime to ponder over It."
