Show LLOYD'S REPORTS SINKING OF THREE MORE STEAMERS LONDON, July 17, 11:42 p. m. Lloyd's reports the British steamer Euphorbia, the Italian steamer Sierra and the steamer Virginia (probably British) sunk. The Euphorbia measured 3S37 tons. She was built in.. 1907 and belonged to the Stagg Line, 'limited, of North Shields. She was last reported bound from Calcutta Cal-cutta for London. The Sierra was last reported having passed Gibraltar July 27 bound from Norfolk Nor-folk to Genoa. The British steamer Virginia was of 4379 tons, built at Glasgow in 1901, and 1 belong to the Virginia Steamship company com-pany of Glasgow. She was last reported arriving at Marseilles June 18 from Santa Cruz, Cuba. |
