Fairview won its j game from the Moroni club by a score of 7 to 3, thereby winning a purse of $100 ff which had been put up for the victors. Johnson, for Fairview, was in fine form if and struck out fourteen men and allowed al-lowed but four hits, which, with an er--jy ror, allowed Moroni's three runs. Geddes, for Moroni, was knocked out of the box ; and was relieved by Jolly, who allowed hut eight hits, in the remaining five ln-ninss. ln-ninss.
