Show YOUNG REPUBLICANS PREPARE FOR OUTING Scheduled for Friday Evening at Saudy; Sandwiches and Lemonade Will Be a Feature. The programme for the Young Men 's Kepubhoan rlub outing and rally at ; Sandv Friday night, July 21, was announced an-nounced vesterdav afteriioon by A. K. Beveridge. secretary of the club, following follow-ing a conference with President Parley P. .Tenson and other officers. The opening address of welcome to the Hepublicans will be made by W. W. Wilson, mnvor of Sandy. Mr. Wilson is also a member of tho executive committee com-mittee of the club. The response will be made by Parley P. Jenson, president of the club. The principal addresses of the evening will be given bv llussell G. Schuldcr of Salt Lake, whose topic will be ' ' Republican Principles. ' J Songs will be given by the Arial quartette. Iver Jarvis will giye a monologue. Louis Van Dam will sing "The Flag Without a Stain." Specialties Special-ties will be given bv George B. Margetts and S. B. Clawson. Larkin Smith will sing a comic song, and Professor L. R. Jenkins will give banjo selections. During the evening sandwiches and lemonade will be served by the Republican Republi-can women of Sandy. Republicans going from the city to attend the celebration will leave in street cars at 7 o'clock, although many who have automobiles will go in their own cars. Members owning automobiles who will have room for extra passengers have been instructed bv tho secretary to communicate with T. L. Holmau, chairman chair-man of the transportation committee, in the secretary of state's office at. the capitol. |
