Show AT POSI HOSPITAL Ray Douglas Petersen of I Park City Victim of j Appendicitis. j The first death at Fort Douglas since last December was recorded yesterday morning morn-ing when Kay Douglas Petersen, overseas over-seas patient at the general hospital, died of appendicitis. He was the son of Mr. and .Mrs. Andrew Petersen of Park City. Utah. Jlis mother was at his bedside when death came, having been notified by the hospital authorities of her son's serious condition. Ills father could not reach the fort until lato yesterday afternoon. after-noon. Petersen was a member of the quartermaster quarter-master corps and served for several months in France. Florence of the Seventieth Sev-entieth engineers, received orders to report re-port to Camp Taylur, Ky.. fur discharge from the service. He left last night. Sergeant Ser-geant K. C. Hoff, 403rd engineer depot, received his discharge yesterday and left for his home at Portland, Ore. Orders were received yesterday authorizing author-izing the discharge of Wagoner Plarvey Cooper, Fifty-second C. A. C, an overseas over-seas patient who has now fully recovered. recov-ered. A volley ball court has been eretced at Fort Douglas for the members of the Twenty-first Infantry. Forty-two convalescent soldiers from the hospital wards at Fort Douglas were taken yefserday afternoon for an auto ride through Salt Lake valley.
