Show SEALS LIMBER UP WITH GYM STUNTS Special to The Tribune. SAN JOSE. Cal., March 27. The Seals did little but mark time at Santa Clara today, owing to the rain which fell in great gobs this morning. There was a little workout this afternoon, but most of the stunts of the players were confined con-fined to the gymnasium. A game between the regulars and the Yannigans was scheduled for this afternoon, after-noon, but no attempt was made to play on account of the showers and the state of the field. An aviator, yet to be named, will do stunts over the field during the game between be-tween the Bears and Seals Sunday afternoon. after-noon. The chamber of commerce has been promised by Colonel Watson, commanding com-manding Mather field, that a flyer will be detailed to make the trip here. He '. will probably land in the field, do some tricks and then go directly back to the : capital city. |
