Show Eugene Palmer killed; services held Palmer. Invocation was by Joseph W. Bauer, the benediction benedic-tion by Eugene H. Stephenson and the dedication of the grave at the Cedar Civ Cemetery was by Alan P Macfarlane. A tribute was given by Nona Brown. Musical selections include "Prayerful Hour," by a ladies trio composed of Shirley Strat. ton, Zelda Smith and Betty Lynch, accompanied by Bern-ella Bern-ella Jones;. "Not Now, But in the Coming Years,", by a mix-ed mix-ed quartet composed of Mrs. Smith Mrs. Stratton, Ralph Hafen and David Terry, and a vocal solo by Ralph Hafen. Prelude and postlude music was by Mrs. Jones. :r-l'..,: Funeral services for Eugene Isom Palmer, 58, who died at the Valley View medical Center Cen-ter in Cedar City Tuesday, July 18 following a two-car collision collis-ion at 600 West and Center Street, were held Saturday, July 22 in the Cedar Fourth Ward Chapel. Palmer was an active member mem-ber of the LDS Church. He was a former ward clerk, a former member of the Bishopric Bishop-ric and a former member of the Cedar Stake High Council. He also served as a High Priest Grouip Instructor in the Cedar Fourth Ward. A former member of the Cedar City Lions Club, he was also a member of the Lions Club Quartet that won national nation-al recognition performing in national conventions in New York and Mexico City. He was also a member of the Master Singers inCedar City; Mr. Palmer attended schools in Cedar City. He graduated from BAC and received his bachelor's degree from Utah State Agricultural College in Logan in 1937. He was affiliat. ed with Phi Kappa Phi, Honor ary Scholastic fraternity. After graduation he taught school for two years in the Salt Lake School District. At the time of his death he was a warehouse superintendent superintend-ent and accountant with U.S. Steel at Santaquin. He was born Sept. 20, 1913 in Cedar City, t0 William R. and Kate V. Palmer. He married mar-ried Ada Stephenson, Sept. 15, 1936 in the Manti LDS Temple. Survivors include his widow, Cedar City and sons and daughters: Stephen, who is serving an LDS Mission in i Brazil; Alan, and Carol, both of Cedar City; Mrs. Boyd (Lar-raine) (Lar-raine) Snow, H u ntington, Emery County; Mrs. J. Roger (Janice) Myers, Phoenix. Also surviving are four grandchildren grandchild-ren and the following brothers: broth-ers: William I., Logan; Richard Rich-ard I., Danville, Calif.; Rodney I., Castro Valley, Calif. Speakers at the services included in-cluded Elihu Watcott, Wirth B. Bulloch and Bishop DeVon Reeves. Conducting was George Geor-ge F. Rhodes. Family prayer was offered by William 1. 1 EUGENE I.
