Show Meeting called tore-organize wildlife group An organizational meeting called for the purpose of activating ac-tivating the Cedar City Wildlife Wild-life Federation has been called call-ed for Thursday evening, Aug. j 3, it is announced by Boyd Adams, Ad-ams, Efforts to activate the or-! ganization, which once wielded wield-ed strong influence on the management of wildlife resources re-sources in this area, have resulted re-sulted from the need to form a group that can help in meeting meet-ing the critical needs of management man-agement today. The meeting will be held in the Cedar City Regional Office Of-fice of the Utah Wildlife Resources Re-sources building on North Main Street at 8 p.m. All interested sportsmen are invited to attend In addition to organization, a program will be presented through the auspiciens of the Wildlife Resources personnel. Assisting Adams in setting up the meetings is Dahl Winn of the Regional Office. They point out that with the ever increasing use of the area for fish and game purposes pur-poses sportsmen need to have a voice in the management and control. "It can only be accomplished through a concentrated con-centrated effort of an organized organ-ized group of sportsmcnt," Adams stated, "and that is what we will be attempting to do in reorganizing the Wildlife Federation," he concluded. |
