The Kindergarten club gave an open meeting in the Presbvterian chapel yesterday afternoon which was addressed ad-dressed by Miss Rose Jones of the University of I'tah and Mrs. J. H. Linford of the B Y. college at Iigan. A number of prominent women of the second ward met Monday evening at the home of Mrs. Orson Nelson and organized a camp of the Daughters of the Pioneers. Mrs Orson Nelson was made president. Wednesday afternoon Mr and Mrs William Jensen returned from Long Beach. Cal , where they spent sixty days. One of the most pleasant card par ties of the past winter was given at the home of Mrs. E. H Morris last nighl when Leroy Hadley and others entertained at a progressive five hundred. hun-dred. Friday evening Jesse Shaw was happily hap-pily surprised by a party of his little friends at his home on Twelfth street Jesse having been sick most of the' winter and missing the holidays. The surprise was arranged by Master John Frey and was complete, and the invaders in-vaders entered and took possession. The evening was passed quickly in anisic and panics, and after partaking of delicious refreshments the companv reluctantly took leave. TO ENTERTAIN.
