Show " Tropic Topics Ella Adair Maureen Mangum made a trip to Salt Lake City for a medical checkup. Carol Stewart and Leolla Ott accompanied her, Leola stopped to visit her daughters while there. Mr. and Mrs. Larvin Pollock attended funeral services in Salt Lake City Thursday for Eva's brother-in-law. Angelyn Mecham was in the hospital in Provo for surgery. The Lester Clarkes visited son Wesley in Salt Lake City. While there, they attended church and Lester assisted with the naming of Wesley's new son, Eric Wesley. They visited daughter April in Provo on the way home. Margie Bee had surgery on her leg in the hospital in Panguitch. She is up and around again and doing fine. The Garn Haycock's son, Richard, is enrolled as a student in the Police Academy at Weber State College. He is studying in the Narcotics and Pathology division of police work. At the present time he is employed by the Police Department in Moab. Eva Dean Francisco made a trip to Beaver to be with her daughter, Helena. Daughter San-drea flew into Salt Lake City from Boston and then to Beaver to see her mother. Catherine Littlefield made a trip to Kanab with her mother. Jack Chynoweth has been a patient this week in a hospital in Cedar Citv. Ella Adair attended a five county meeting for the senior citizens in Cedar City. A priesthood seminar for all boys eleven years old and their fathers will be held in Escalante Saturday evening at 7 p.m. The Relief Society held their annual birthday party and dinner Tuesday evening. Highlighting the activities was the presentation of Homemaker Awards to several of the ladies. The Senior Citizens will hold their monthly dinner in the Scout House at 6 p.m. tonight. The group will then go to the school to see the talent show at 7 P m. |
