Show Faces Charge of ABsault. Special to The Trlbuno. OGDEN, Doc. D. Two cases of more than ordinary pollco court Importance are scheduled for trial before Judgo W. II. Reedor tomorrow. D. Krelnes, a secondhand second-hand dealer, will bo tried on the charge of receiving stolen goods. It is alleged that William Hcndershot and Carl Up-helkcns, Up-helkcns, later sentenced to serve county jail terms, sold Krelnes a quantity of copper wire stolen from the Ogden Rapid Transit company. Tho caso of Josoph Hadley, charged with assault and battory upon Robert McFaiiand, will bo tried beforo Judge Rceder. Both of the men resldo at West Weber and following an altercation on August 28 regarding tho use of water from an irrigation canal Hadley is alleged al-leged to have struck MeFarland over tho head with a shovel. MeFarland, who is well advanced in years, is said to havo sustained painful injuries. Both defendants havo had preliminary arraignments and were released on bond. |
