Show ELK THESPI15 TO ENTEflliTOlHT "Going Some,, s Offering for Benefit by Salt Lake Lodge Men. Bex. Beach's comody, "Going Some," will be produced at tho Salt Lake theator tonight and Thursday night by Salt Lake lodge No. 85, Benevolent and Protective Ordor of Elks. The play is one of tho most laughable ever written, writ-ten, and the scat sale thus far indicates that standing room in the theator will be at a premium for both nights. Tho proceeds will go to charity. The members of the cast have been rehearsing industriously since their parts wore given them a week ago. S. A. Maginnis, exalted ruler of tho lodge, has an important part, for which ho was chosen because of his allegod ability as a singer. Others in the cast have boen selected for parts which it is thought they are adapted for. Tlonald Bradbury and Frederick Sumner of the Utah Stock company have been assigned as-signed to important roles. Others who will appear in tho cast are: Ilarry Brain, Gerald Shaughncssy, Eugene Owen, Jack Fogartv, L. ft. Wardrop, Harry Elliott and Josh Davis. The women who will tako part aro: Miss Leah Smith, Miss Bessio O'Brien, Miss Heta Lewis and Miss Fannie Hammond. |
