Show 1MT5 ISSUE FOR INDICTED OFFICERS United Mine Workers' Officials Offi-cials and Members to Be Prosecuted. DENVER, Colo., Dec. 9. Warrants for the arrest of the United Mine Workers' officers and members Indicted by the federal grand jury at Pueblo last week wcro placed In the hands of United States Marshal Dewey C. Bailey today. Mr. Bailey said that the warrants would bo served as soon as the usual clerical formalities were gone through. It is understood that attorneys for some of tho defendants havo made arrangements to havo their clients appear before the United States commissioner and glvo bond. Referring to dispatches from Washlng-1 Washlng-1 ton stating that service of tho warrants 1 would be held back until officials of the department of Justice have given opinions opin-ions as to the merits of tho grand Jury's findings. District Attorney Harry E. Kelly declared this afternoon that the warrants would be served at onco. He said that the cases would bo prosecuted prose-cuted In the United States district court, notwithstanding Washington dispatches to the effect that departmental officials were to determine whether the cases should go to trial. "I havo received no orders from the attorney general since the Indictments were returned," said Mr. Kelly, "and I have been given absolutely a freo hand In the whole matter." WATjSENBTJRG. Colo..
