Show High fire conditions in area CEDAR CITY - Low rainfall and continued hot drying weather have resulted in high fire conditions on the Dixie National Forest, according ac-cording to Rollo H. Brunson, district ranger. With the 24th of July weekend coming up, all forest visitors are urged ; to juse extreme caution and good judgement with anything which could start a fire, said Rollo. The discharge or use of I all fireworks including sparklers, is prohibited on national forest land. Three man-caused wildfires have occurred so far this season on the Cedar City District, t mostly from careless i woodcutters. Forest users are urged to be careful and report any fire to the nearest Forest Service facility as soon as possible. I i |
