Show Communities in Iron County plan Pioneer Day activities Enoch celebration begins early ENOCH The Pioneer Day celebration will begin here with an early morning flag raising ceremony and continue until late that night with an old time dance. The time in between will be filled with a number of activities, according to organizers of the event. The flag raising will be at the Enoch LDS Church at 7 a.m., with some of the oldest Boy Scouts in the area doing the honors. There will be a kiddie parade at 11 a.m. Participants Par-ticipants are to line up at Steve Grimshaw's home on Midvalley Road. Following the parade will be a pioneer program at 11:30 in the church cultural hall. At 12 noon there will be food, concessions, games and booths on the church park. Hamburgers, hot dogs, sloppy joes, pies, cake and home made root beer will be part of the menu. At 9 p.m. the colors will be retired, and an old-, time dance will take place.
