Postniiisler Frank IVtty said this week. "The Postal Si-rvuv in Utah will allow us many employees as possible Ihr opportunity to obserw this important state holiday." the postmaster said. "Postal employees who can lx spared and who would like to celebrate the 24th will be authorized vacation leave." The postmaster stated, "express mail and special delivery mail will be delivered as usual. Mail also will be collected and dispatched in the normal manner. In addition, we will take care of urgent needs if customers notify us." Postmaster Petty noted the Postal Service celebrates similar holidays in other parts ol the country. "Our in tention is to provide Ihr best possible service on July 24th while allowing many of our employees the opportunity to participate par-ticipate in Pioneer bay festivities along with thousands ol other residents throughout the state." |
