Show S72T. EMMONS Miss LaRae Wall .vw--. .vv-.- vusexsv Leslie Orr was on his way to Vernal March 12, when his car was hit by that of Wong C. Wing Mr. Orr's right arm and left leg were broken. He was taken to the hospital in Vernal. The ward reunion was held March sixteenth. Mr. and Mrs. Hershall Iorg have bought Mrs. Mary C. Snyder's Sny-der's home. LaGrand Smith of Salt Lake is spending the week end with his brother, Hyrum Smith, and family. fam-ily. Alfred Rogers returned home Sunday after being discharged from the army where he has been serving for the past year. Mrs. Olive Miles, Lois Thack-er Thack-er and Vista Wall spent Tuesday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. La Von Atwood in Bluebell. Mr. and Mrs. Bavee Mecham have bought the Hardy Perkins home. Mr. and Mrs. Perkins are moving to Altonah, where they have bought Ed Conklin's farm. Lyndon Hansen, has bought a new electric milker. The following friends of Norma Nor-ma Wall surprised her on her birthday March 17: Lcona Tit-comb, Tit-comb, Dorothy Hansen, DeVon Atwood, Dona Powell, Eugene Ames, Kay Wall, Don Evans and George Case. Mrs. Rosabell Ames, LeRoy Wilcox, Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy Thacker and daughters, Lorna and Anna Lee attended the fare well party for Harry Smith of Bluebell, who is leaving on a mission. Mrs. Wilcox of Salt Lake visited visit-ed over the week end with her son, LeRoy Wilcox and family. Mr. Wilcbx is the principle of Altamont high school. A farewell party was given for Mr. and Mrs. Austin Taylor at their home Sunday evening. Those present were: Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Miles, Mr. and Mrs. Lyndon Lyn-don Hansen, Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Leon-ard Wall, Mr. and Mrs. Waldo Hansen, Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Ames and Mr. and Mrs. Warcn Beebe. Mr. and Mrs. Taylor have sold their place and have bought a cattle and sheep ranch in Wyoming. Wy-oming. Leon Atwood and Raymond Lister have returned home after spending a week in Craig, Colorado. Colo-rado. Mr. Wailey of Upalco, coach of the Altamont high school attended attend-ed sacrament meeting at Mt. Emmons Em-mons on Sunday His talk on athletics ath-letics and song, "When Iris Eyes Are Smiling" were greatly enjoyed. en-joyed. Mrs. Zelda Rogers went to Salt Lake Wednesday where she met her husband, Alfred, who has just received an honorable discharge from the army. They returned Sunday. Mr. Leslie Orr was brought home from the Vernal hospital Sunday 17th. His daughter, Cle-ora, Cle-ora, and her husband, Carl Allen, returned with him. Mrs. Art Case has spent the week with her mother, Mrs. Leslie Les-lie Orr. The speech class of Altamont are presenting a three-act myst-try myst-try play on March 21th, "The Girl With Two Faces." |
