Elmer Smith of Roosevelt was in Ioka Wednesday assisting the farmers to sign for wheat insurance. insur-ance. Daiien and Arden Timothy visit several days with their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Ostler, in Hancock Cove. Paul and Leo Miles, who have employment in Salt Lake, visited over the week end with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Miles. Edna May and Billy Timothy spent the week at the home ol their aunt, Mrs. Edna Drollinger, while their mother, Mrs. Joshua Timothy, was in the hospital with a bad thoat ailment. Lorene Clark of Vernal is mafc ing an extended visit with hei aunt, Mrs. Loren Carruth, and with Mr. and Mrs. John E. Webb. Charles Ray Angus returned to his home in Helper Saturday after a two weeks visit with his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. John A. Angus. Mr. and Mrs. Guy Percival and son, Neil, of Provo came out to attend the reception of Mr. Perc-ivals Perc-ivals sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Scott. The Relief Society held their annual March 17th party Friday A good time was had by all. 1 Ted Miles of Salt Lake City visited the later part of the week with his brother, Ralph Miles, and family and with a sister, Mrs. Hazel Wall, and family. Mr. and Mrs. John Gilbert and Randall Stewart of Roosevelt, and Dale Jones and some friends from Duchesne attended the Relief Re-lief Society party Friday night. LeRoy Anderson accompanied by Clair Benson and Charles Ray Angus made a trip to Vernal Wednesday. Mrs. Pearl Workman and brother, Don Drollinger, visited Mr. and Mrs. Arden, Drollinger Thursday. EaVette Percival celebrated her 5th birthday Thursday. Lynn and Edgar Cook of Bluebell Blue-bell visited Wednesday with their grandmother and with their aunt, Mrs. Hugh Percival, while their parents were in Roosevelt and Ft. Duchesne. Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Scott left Tuesday to make their home in i Provo. J The Primary officers and tea- chers held a meeting at the home i of President Marie Benson Thursday Thurs-day to plan their summer program pro-gram and to make preparations for a primary conference. Ioka was well represented at Stake Priesthood and Union meeting Sunday at Roosevelt. |
