Show soooKJooi- Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Woodard of Salt Lake City arrived on Monday to help Mr. and Mrs. Aeal Gowans, move back to then iiome in Tooele. The Gowans nave spent the winter here with it. A. Murray. Mrs. Bcrncicc Atwood and new baby girl came home on Thursday Thurs-day from the Roosevelt hospital. Mrs. Ed Miles and two children chil-dren came on Wednesday to prepare pre-pare me house lor Mrs. Uerneice Atwood's home coming with her new baby. Mr. and Mrs. L&Mond Lloyd and five children of Salt Lake City arrived Saturday evening to visit old friends in bluebell. Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd and three youngest young-est children spent the night at the Orie Cook home, and the two older old-er girls stayed at the U. B. Winkler Wink-ler home. On Sunday in sacrament sacra-ment meeting the Lloyd family presented a very interesting program pro-gram consisting of music and talks. Mr. and Mrs. Albert Towell and family and Mrs. James W. Powell and two sons went to Salt Lake City on Saturday. Mrs. James Powell remained in Salt Lake City for a visit with relatives rela-tives and the rest of the group returned home on Sunday. R. G. Lisonbce is spending his furlough here with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ilosca Lisonbce. Frankly n Smith, Erdria Mathews, Math-ews, Hazel Bird and Beth Winkler Wink-ler who are all employed in Salt Lake City, spent the week end at home with their parents. Mr. and Mrs. Otto Johnson, Sr. of Murray, Utah visited with Mr. and Mrs. John Thorsen on Saturday Satur-day and Sunday. They also visit-ed visit-ed in Duchesne and Ulahn. A farewell lestomonial party was held for Harry Smith who is leaving for the Louisiana-Texas Mission. Harry entered tne mission mis-sion home on March 18th. Program: Pro-gram: remarks by Wm. Emmons; song, Frank-lyn Frank-lyn B. Smith, The remainder of the evening was spent in dancing. Thackers furnished the music. Claud Mathews and son, Fred were, business visitors at Lapoint Thursday. Mrs. Sadie Dennis and son, Jay-Alexander, Jay-Alexander, of Roosevelt visited Sunday with Mrs. Dennis' parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs.' Levision Hancock. Han-cock. Mrs. Edith Mathews and son, Charles, of Riverton, Mrs. Pearl Cummings, Mr. and Mrs. Charley Larson and family of Myton were Sunday dinner guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Claud Mathews. Mr. and Mrs. Allen Cook visited visit-ed relatives and friends here one day last week. A beautiful quilt was made for Mrs. Lenora Strasburg last week in Relief Society. Honoring Mr. Leonard Goodrich's Good-rich's birthday, the ladies of the club met at her home Thursday and presented her with a beauti ful mirror. A delicious dinner was served to the following: Lenora Le-nora Strasburg, Thelma Cook, Sylvia Goodrich, Garda Sceley, Mina Goodrich, Alice Gale, Zella Goodrich, Laura Sceley, Verona Winkler and the hostess. Maxine Winkler visited in Salt Lake City a few days last week i with her grandmother, Mrs. I Mary Mcrrclls, and her sister, Beth. The slate inspector of the Highland High-land Drive Dairy was in Bluebell one day last week. Howard Goodrich of the Gil-sonite Gil-sonite Mines and Miss Nina Be-hunin Be-hunin of Salt Lake City spent Friday night with Howard's par-j ents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Goodrich. Good-rich. A Larks party was held at the home of Mrs. Lenore Lisonbce on Sunday afternoon. Games were played and lunch was served to the following, Leona, Stella and Lucy Bird, Hazel Jenkins, Ronald Ron-ald and Clyde Goodrich. Guests of Lconidis Lisonbce on Saturday were his three brothers, 1 Roy Lisonbce of Roosevelt, Byrd and Laffette Lisonbce of Salt ' Lake City, and a sister, Mrs Lidia Holmes. I Guests of Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Secley on Sunday were, Mr. and Mrs. Gardner Goodrich, and daughters, Dolores, Jeanne and Marilyn; Mrs. Dolores Drollinger and son, Grant; Alma Richcns of Roosevelt and Miss Thalia Riggs.
