Show Cedar Breaks travel Travel to CedarBreaks National Monument for calendar year 1977 decreased 13.3 percent from 1976, Monument Superintendent Superin-tendent Earle G. Curran has announced. A total of 356,090 visited during 1977, compared com-pared to the record 415,587 recorded in 1976. Campground use showed an increase of 5.6 percent, with 7118 campers during 1977, compared with 6743 during 1976. Evening interpretive programs were presented to over 2400 visitors and another 700 visitors participated par-ticipated in guided walks. The visitor center registered nearly 50,000 visits, a decline of 17 percent from 1976. |
