Show CofC Committees appointed The monthly meeting of the Parowan Chamber of Commerce was held Wed. Jan. 11, with a set of by-laws presented and initially okayed. A copy of the by-laws is available for reading and comments by members in the Parowan Public Library after February 1. Formal approval will be by members mem-bers at the regular monthly meeting held the fourth Wed. of February. Members of the present chamber board accepted areas of responsibility at the Jan. meeting. Frosty Mitchell Mit-chell will be in charge of Community affairs, the medical center and recreation. Board member Bill Daileda is in charge of the Retail Merchants Committee, Com-mittee, Millie Lovric in charge of Industrial Development, Public Relations, advertising and membership is the ' responsibility of Doug Vincent, and vice president Will Hillis is over Government Govern-ment Relations. Dee Robinson was voted by the board as the group's treasurer and Elaine Terry was okayed as secretary. Featured speaker at the next Chamber meeting will be Mayor Jim Robinson to be held Wed. January 25 at 7:30 p.m. in the Library Lounge. |
