By Pearl Baker New Grandbaby Mr. and Mrs. Robert Seely are delighted w ith the birth of a new granddaughter, Kara Michone to Mr. and Mrs. Keith Seely in Salt Lake City. She was born on June 26 at the Holy Cross Hospital, and ..' weighed 7 pounds and 2 ' ounces. Other grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Earl McMasters of Salt Lake City. :j Visits in N.M. Mr. and Mrs. Joe Baker '; spent the long weekend with their son Jody at Portales, '' New Mexico. Jody is stationed ;. at Cannon Air Force Base as a traffic controller. While there, the Bakers enjoyed Eastern , New Mexico University's presentation pre-sentation of Man of La Mancha, in which Marcia '' Stephens, who visited in Green river for about a week ; last winter, sang the part of El i' TJonza-Ducimea. After the j'; show, Joe and Maxine joined the east for the after-per- formance party, which they i enjoyed very much. Marcia A was not able to join the Bakers y for a trip to Carlsbad Caverns, i; . , . . m ' , in which Joe maintains they walked a thousand miles. Indiana Visitors Mr. and Mrs. Earl Million and daughter, and Mr. and Mrs. Gene Lewis and two sons had their customary summer dusting in red this month. They spent a week in the Montezuma Creek area, hiking and exploring, which they enjoyed to the fullest. While in Green River they visited the Ross Harmons, Moki Mac Ellingson and me. The girls dry flowers and make pictures of them. They brought me a small desk-size picture on. black velvet in a deep gold frame of pansies and lily-ofy the-valley. It is most delicate and beautiful and much appreciated. From here the two families went on to explore Browns Park before returning home. Married Mr. and Mrs. Rollie Thompson Thomp-son announce the wedding of their daughter, Sharon to Ron Mickelson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Mickelsen of Hemet, Calif. The wedding will be August 9 in Hemet, with a reception following. The Thompsons are planning an Open House for the couple at their newly . remodeled and renovated home in Green River on August 16th from 8 to 10 in the evening. V Church Again Filled St.: Michael was again filled this Sunday for Mass, with about thirty tourist taking advantage , of the opportunity. Father Green-well, Green-well, new to" the Price parish, served Mass, and in the social hour afterward, mentioned that he was from Kentucky. ' . c Wedding Kim Wall, son of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Thompson and Miss Judy Skaggs, daughter of Mrs. Bobby Skaggs of Salt Lake City were united in a garden wedding at the home of Mrs. Grace Peterson on Jury 19th. The bride was dressed in j I a floor-length gown with a ' I train, and wore a long veil. She . was attended by her sister, Mrs. Sandi Lewis and several bridesmaids from "Salt Lake City, as well as Gflil Thompson I from Green River. Best Man t was Monte -. Bishop ' Edward Hansen performed the I ceremony in the beautiful lawn I and garden, and the evening ' was perfect.
