Green River Cheerleaders Involved In Clinic at Cedar Citv School Green River High School cheerleaders joined representatives represen-tatives from several Utah and Nevada schools at a cheerlead-irig cheerlead-irig clinic held recently at Southern Utah State College. The week-long clinic was stoffed by the American Cheerleaders Association wilh headquarters in Leesburg. Florida. "The purpose of national ACA clinics is to gain an appriciation of God and Country through cheerlead-ing," cheerlead-ing," Susan Wallis, clinic field director, said. "Girls study the chicrliad-ing chicrliad-ing arts, aspects of cheerleader cheerlead-er and crowd behavior and successful methods of dealing with faculty and student groups," the Jacksonville. Also attending the clinic were cheerleaders from Evergreen Junior High School in Salt Laic City. Green River participants included Joni Banasky, daughter daugh-ter of Mr. and Mrs. James Banasky; Marian Bastian, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. m Keith Bastian; .Ian Nielson. daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wilfonl Durrani; Ruth Ann Reav. daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bill Keay; Linda Riches, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clark J. Riches; Candice Betcre, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Vetere; and Carene and Kim Scager, daughters of Mr. and Mrs. James Scager, all of Green River. |
