Show Mrs. Bertha Angus Mrs. Violet Geniry Seminary Gives Sunday Program The Sunday program was given by he Seminary under he direction of Melvin Peterson, Seminary teacher. The program consisted of talks by Gwen Hol-gate, Hol-gate, Gordon Eldrege, Diane Nelson and Kent Jensen. Two numbers were sung by Deane Asay accompanied by Patsy Gines. Dr. and Mrs. L. G. Benson have returned from a tripx to New York. They stopped at their parents home to get their children who' have been visiting Mr. and Mrs. Archie Benson. They returned to Cedar City Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Reed Lemon were Duchesne visitore Thur. Mrs. Hazel Drollinger and daughter, Ruth and her children of Richmond visied here with relatives over the weekend. Mrs. Wayne Russon of Roosevelt Ro-osevelt visited Thursday with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Reed Lemon. Archie Benson left Saturday with his son, Dr. L. G. Benson, to go as far as Cedar City where he was to be met by another son, Theron, who will take him to California where he expects to work. Evan and John Percival ;went to Provo Wed. and brought Florence Percival back for a two week visit. Mary Ann Mathensen visited over the weekend with her aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. Reed Lemon. Mrs. Clarence Jones of Roosevelt visited friends in Ioka Wednesday. Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Mil-burn Mil-burn made a trip to Murray and Salt Lake Thursday returning return-ing the same day. Mrs. Chester 'Mathism and family xi Myton were Sunday visitor.s of Mr. and Mrs. Reed Lemon. THURSDAY CLUB MAKES XMAS GIFTS Mrs. Sarah Brokaw was hostess to the Thursday Club at her home Oct. 15. The afternoon after-noon was spent making Christmas Christ-mas gifts. Delicious refreshments were enjoyed by Jo Yergensen. Olive Sorensen, Edith Gentry, Mattee Mortensen, Lucy Edwards, Ed-wards, Gladys Dart, Mrs. Myrtle Nelson, Mrs. Af ton John-sen, John-sen, and Mrs. Bernice Hauter. Mr. and Mrs. Willis Dart of Calif, and Mr. and Mrs Arthur Leight and daughter, Linda, of Salt Lake were visiting their parents Mr. and Mrs. O. A. Dart. Gloria Riding of Roosevelt was the over-night guest of Louise Gentry Tuesday. Regina Reay is staying with her Aunt while her parents, Mr and Mrs. Tuff Reay are enjoying enjoy-ing a vacation in Canada. Mr. and Mrs. Reed Lemon called on Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Mecham of Hancock Cove Sunday Sun-day afternoon. |
