Show Couple Honored At Wedding Reception - Dance Miss Betty Timothy and Mur-ry Mur-ry Harrison exchanged marriage vows Wednesday, Oct. 7 at the home of the bridegroom's parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Harrison, Harri-son, of Lapoint. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Timothy, of Roosevelt. Bishop Walker of the Lapoint LDS ward affociated at the ceremony, cere-mony, which was followed by a buffet supper for the bridal group. I For her wedding the tride chose a waltz length gown of white brocaded taffeta, trim-' med with black plush and silver j leaf design. She carried a bouquet bou-quet a red roses. ' Maid of honor was Miss Patty Pat-ty Goodrich, who wore an ice blue knit suit with navy accessories. acces-sories. Her bouquet was of gardenias. gar-denias. The bride's mother was attired at-tired in an afternoon dress of black crepe and the groom's mother wore blue crepe. Both had gardenia corsages. Assuming best man duties was Dalan Marx, and the wedding march was played by Mrs. Francis Fran-cis Horrocks. The newlyweds left for a honeymoon trip to Grand and Bryce Canyons and then went to Richfield to be honorary guests at the wedding of Miss Patty Goodrich and Mr. Dalan Marx. For her going away ensemble en-semble for the bride wore a gray suit with navy accessories. On Saturday night, Oct. 24, the pair was feted at a reception recep-tion and wedding danco r.t the Lapoint LDS chapel, where the following program was presented, present-ed, with Miss Ramona Harrison as mistress of ceremonies: vocal solo, Clark Oarum; vocal trio, Judy Hall, Joan Walker and Laura Lee Lerdahl; solo Miss Horrocks. Center of attraction in the serving room was the three-tiered three-tiered wedding cake topped with a miniature bride and groom. In charge of the serving were Mrs. Elizabeth- Harrison, Mrs,. Olen Timothy and Miss Ramona Harrison. Har-rison. The young couple will make their home in Vernal, where Mr. Harrison is employed by Hacking Hack-ing Furniture Co. The new bride graduated from Union High School with the class of '53, and Mr. Harrison graduated from the Alterra High School in 1951, and has since been a member of the National Guard. |
