Show Kiwanis Election Set For Next Week, October 28 Next Wednesday, Oct. 28, the Roosevelt Kiwanis club will select a new slate of officers to carry on the activities of the club during 1954. Nominated for president are the two current cur-rent vice-presidents. Orson Stevens, manager of the Stephens Steph-ens Sand and Gravel Co., and Robert Montgomery, assistant manager of the Commercial Bank of Utah. Those receiving the nomination nomina-tion so far for first and second vice-presidents are Denny Martin, Parley Rawlings, Orvill i Rudy and Elmer Yergensen. For treasurer. Don Truman and John : Wogec. Two' year directors will1 be selected from Bert Gardner, Ted Harmston. Dr. Wesley P. Peterson and Wilford Robinson. Candidates for 3 one-year directors direc-tors are Bert Burgess, Elmer Eldredge, Robert Ferron, Grant Killian, George Miller, Don Nielson, Floyd Peterson, - L.L. Pack, Presley Timothy and J. C. Zimmerman. Holdover directors direc-tors are, Cliff Memmott and Don Truman, and the retiring president, presi-dent, Carl Harrison will become a member of the board of directors. |
