Show Mrs. Ethel Beebe Relief' Society Gets New j Set Of Officers I The Altonah Ward Relief j Society was re-organized Oct.ll in Sacrament meeting. Officers released were Mrs. Arda Ames.) president; Mrs. Marion Monson,! 1st counselor; Mrs. Mary Powell I 2nd counselor and Mrs. Eldora Mitchell secretary - treasurer. New officers are Mrs. Marion Monson, president; Mrs. LaRue Fisher, 1st counselor; Mrs. Mary Powell. 2nd counselor and Mrs. Ethel Beebe as secretary-tresurer Speakers in meeting were Less Orr and Max Hartman, members of the Quorum of Seventy from Mt. Emmons. Lane Foote and brother-in4aw of Salt Lake City called at the homes of Claude Murray and Lester Maxfield Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Glen Turnbow and family of Keetley and Miss Alta Jones and Bill Clark were weekend visitors with Mr. and Mrs. Albert Clark. CAST REMOVED- Tyrone Kolb, who was injured by a tracjor some time ago, receiving re-ceiving a broken pelvis bone, has the cast removed and is able to be around again. V. L. Woodland returned to his home in Salt Lake City after spending the past two months with Mr. and Mrs. Ed Olsen. Sharlene Young, who is attending at-tending school in Salt Lake City spent the weekend at home. Mr. and Mrs. Linford Max-field Max-field and family visited with Mr. and Mrs. James Powell in Cedarview Sunday afternoon. Visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Clark during the weekend were Mrs. Clarence Liddell and family of Roosevelt and Mr. and Mrs. James Clark and family of Vernal. I The Altonah ward has a new piano which makes the singing sound much better. Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Burke and daughter Carol of Vernal were Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Beebe. Milton Anderson took his family to Heber Sunday to spend a few days with their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Pete Mahy. |
