Show DUP Makes Quilt The Daughters of the Utah Pioneers held a quilting party at the home of Sylvia Blackburn Black-burn on Thursday. A quilt was quilted, and tickets will be sold on it as a benefit for the organization. organ-ization. Lunch was served by Mrs. Blackburn, Norma Benton, and Lillie Bigelow to a very large group. Mr. and Mrs. Golden Merkley of Salt Lake City and Mr. and Mrs. Norman Long and baby of Duchesne visited at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Bigelow. Bige-low. The men took in the deer hunt while here. Mr. and Mrs. H. C. Workman of Salt Lake City and Mrs. Eugene Workman and girls of Myton were visitors in Lapoint over the weekend. Floyd Searle of Denver, Colo', visited his mother. Mrs. Sylvia Blackburn during the week. Mrs. Rhoda Lee. and Mrs. and Mrs. Homer Lee and children visited the Lawrence Lee family of Artesia, Colorado during the week. Delia Benton accompanied her son, Tom Benton, to Salt Lake City on Thursday. Martha Johnson and children accompanied her brother Roscoe Justice to' Salt Lake City for a visit and Mr. and Mrs. Edward Col-ton Col-ton and baby of Vernal were visitors at the Thurman Ras-mussen Ras-mussen home over the weekend.
