Show Wins Rifle The American Legion and Auxiliary gave a deer hunting dance in the Legion Hall last Thursday night. They gave a 30-06 rifle to the holder of a lucky ticket, who was Merril Taylor of Mt. Home. Hardy Perkins and Howard Fowler made a trip to Price for a load of coal Monday. The Altonah ward correlation meeting was held Sunday night in the Ward hall. Mrs. Ira Winkler of Toddsl Park spent several days visiting visit-ing her son-in-law and daughter, ' Mr. and Mrs. Grant Monson. Mr. and Mrs. Berton Saris and family of Wilminton, Calif., arrived ar-rived monday to visit Mr. Saris' parents, ,Mr. and Mrs. Harold Morris and family. SOCIAL HELD The Altonah Ward Relief Society held a social Tuesday in the 'Ward hall. A short program pro-gram and refreshments were enjoyed en-joyed by 12 ladies. Mrs. Jerry Clark broke several sev-eral ribs when She fell at her home Monday. Mr. and Mrs. Bob Berrett and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Charley Allred and Mr. and Mrs. Udell Allred and son. all of Rangley, Colorado spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Allred and Mr and Mrs. Glendon Max-field. Max-field. Mr. Ed Olsen made a business trip to Ogden Monday. Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Foote of Mt. Emmons Em-mons accompanied her. Lowis Reese, manager of the Moon Lake Electric Ass'n. made a business trip to Sale Lake City last week. Mr. and Mrs. Lester Max-field Max-field went to Provo friday to get their son Perry, who is a student at B. Y. U. He spent the weekend home as did Miss Shanna Atwood who' is also a student at the B. Y. TJ. She visited visit-ed with her sister and brother-in-law. Mr. and Mrs. Ty Kolb. Dinner guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Glade Timothy Sunday were Mr. and Mrs. Dick Jessen and boys of Boneta, Mr. and Mrs. George Berrett Jr. and daughters of Altamont, Mr. and Mrs. Bob Berrett and daughter of Rangely, Colorado and Mr. and Mrs. Dick Clark and girls. Harold Morris who's employed employ-ed in Wyoming arrived home for a visit with his family. Mrs. Max Stevenson and her daughter were in Mt. Home recently re-cently visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Cliff Stevenson. Lee Jessen accompanied by Cliff Stevenson of Mt Home and Ted Olpin of Roosevelt to Odgen Friday to bring home the i body of Pvt. Max Stevenson who was killed in Korea July 16, 1953. Funeral services were held on Monday, October 19. |
