Next Tuesday, Oct. 27, new residents of communities in Utah, and that includes at least five communities in Duchesne Du-chesne County, along with those who have reached the age of 21, will have an opportunity to registerr a privilege they should not overlook. . . Then on Tuesday, Nov 3 residents of these communities will have an opportunity to ' select a mayor and two councilmen, whose responsibility it will be to administer the affairs of the community during the next four years. In communities where there is a contest it becomes increasingly important to exercise your franchise and select the individuals whom you feel are best suited to represent you around a council tabled . Each of you has a large investment in your community either in a financial way, or from a social standpoint, and each should have a voice in saying who shall govern. . . Your ballot is your voice and if you fail to use it. you most certainly should not complain com-plain because the wrong man was elected mayor or to the council. It isn't necessarily important who' you vote for Nov 3rd, but it is IMPORTANT that you make sure -you ARE REGISTERED so that you are QUALIFIED TO VOTE ON NOVEMBER THIRD! . . . Register on TUESDAY, OCT. 27th. v E v , SAFETY ON OUR HIGHWAYS .... The straight and narrow path can lead to trouble!
