Show KAHARRAVILLE NEWS Mrs. Hannah Davis Overnight visitors last week at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Piatt were some of their children, child-ren, Mr. and Mrs. Reeve Chid-ister Chid-ister and children and Mr. and Mrs. Ernie Atwood of Salt Lake City. Mr. Atwood was home on leave from the army. Mr. and Mrs. Austin Ence, Verna Davis and Jennie Williams Wil-liams attended funeral services at Cedar City for Mrs. Rhoda Willis. Arvilla Woodbury received word of the birth of a granddaughter grand-daughter to her son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Clayton Woodbury of Alamedia, California. Califor-nia. Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Olds were week end visitors last week at Las Vegas, Nev. Mr. and Mrs. Leon Davis were visitors In Sandy, Utah, with their son Ramond and family. Bessie Davies spent a few days visiting with relatives in Rich-field Rich-field and Venice, Sevier county. Mrs. Hettie Pollock accompanied accompan-ied her daughter, Roma Wood, to Las Vegas, where she will stay for a wihle. Mrs. Pollock is convelesclng from a broken ankle. an-kle. Mrs. Amy Adams and Mrs. Helen Grant and children of Salt Lake City were visitors at the home of Mable Williams. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Esplin spent several days in Salt Lake City to visit with his mother. Visitors Sunday evening at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Noel Williams Wil-liams were their son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Sheldon Stuck! of Cedar City. Visitors in town Sunday with relatives were Mrs. Juanita Kos-sen Kos-sen and Clara Littlefield of Henderson, Hen-derson, Nev. Marlow G if ford, nephew of the Wayne Olds and Glendon De-Mille De-Mille families spent a few days here from his base In Texas. He will be transferred to a base In Germany. Roma Wood and Mr. and Mrs. George Wood of Las Vegas visited vis-ited here with relatives. They came to attend funeral services for Mrs. Rhoda Willis in Cedar City. Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Davis of Las Vegas were visitors here recently with relatives. Several local people attended the Utah Symphony Orchestra concert In Cedar City under the direction of Maurice Abravanel. Mr. and Mrs. Loren Robinson enjoyed a visit from sctne of their children Sunday, Mr. and Mrs. Jim Robinson and baby and Mr .and Mrs. Sherman Kitchen of Orem, and Mr. and Mrs. Don Robinson and daughter of Cedar City. Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Davis received re-ceived word that their son Allen is now stationed at Fort Carson, Colorado. |
