Show KEYCASTLE HEWS L'OTES I by Norma Chrbtensea Mr. and Mrs. Sterling Tullis Journeyed to Salt Lake City last week end where they visited Mildred's Mil-dred's father, Dennis Farnsworth, who la very ill. Mr. and Mrs. Johnny Sand-atrom Sand-atrom of Dugway, and Mrs. Ver-ue Ver-ue Sandstrom and family of Pro-vo Pro-vo were week end visitors in New Castle at the homes of Mary Tullis and Scott Tullis. Mrs. Lydia Morton and baby daughter of Summit were Saturday Satur-day visitors at the home of her folks, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Harrison. Har-rison. The Escalante Valley Lions club held their ladies night last Saturday In Castleton, Nev., where they enjoyed the Chinese cooking of Mrs. Wah. Members attending from New Castle were Mr. and Mrs. Darwin Hulet, Mr. and Mrs. Warren Piatt, Mr. and Mrr. Russell Chrlstensen, Mr. and Mrs. Verl Woolsey, Mr. and Mrs. Trusten Hart, and Mr. and Mrs. George Jolley. Mrs. Geneva Gillies is happy with the visit of her sister, Mrs. Fern Showalter, of Love 11, Wyo. Mr. Showalter plans to stay a month with Geneva and both sisters sis-ters will be ablo to review a lot of old and rheiialied memories. The New Castle MIA presented their one-act play in the ward hall Tuesday night and in the Enterprise chapel Wednesday night along with the plays of the two Enterprise wards. Mem- bers of the cast were Danny Tullis, Tul-lis, Beverly Chrlstensen, Shlley Hart, Trusten Hart, Gloria Jolley and Verl Woolsey and was directed direc-ted by Mrs. Mildred Tullis. Bob and Gail Knell, sons of Mr. and Mrs. Kay Knell, played their guitars between plays Tuesday Tues-day night when the Nevada wards presented their plays, In the Enterprise chapel. Mr. and Mrs. Sterling Tullis received the happy news that they are grandparents for the second time with the arrival of a baby boy to Blaine and Cleo Applegate. The baby was born Nov. 13, In the Iron County Hospital. Hos-pital. Rita Hulet, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Norman Hulet fell from a fence Saturday and broke her arm. Another accident In town Involved In-volved Karen Piatt, tiny year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Warren Piatt. She fell and cut her eye, resulting In the necessity necessi-ty of four stitches. Mr. and Mrs. Earl H. Ferrin of Salt Lake City, were week end visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Knell. Mrs. Ferrin is the former France Knott who used to teach at CSU. Ihey Journeyed Jour-neyed to Southern Utah to attend the dedication services of the new science building on the CSU campus. Ed Hunt of the Uvada Stake High Council and Perry Peacock, Stake Clerk, were visitors and speakers In Sacrament meeting Sunday. Sunday visitors at the Melvin Hulet home were Mr. and Mrs. Jay Nielsen of St. George and Mr. nd Mr. Mont Nielsen and family of Cedar City. Mr. and Mrs. Reed Prisbey of New Harmony were visitors this week at the home of t'lelr daughter daugh-ter and her family, Mr. and Mrs. Clifton Hulet. |
