Show Cedar City Jaycees Attend Salt Lake Conference Participating in activities and business events at Jaycee Quarterly Quar-terly Conference this past week were State Vice President Bud Bowman, accompanied by his wife, Marilyn; National Director R. L. Gardner and wife, La Rue, local Jaycee president Ken Knight and wife, Ruth, along with Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Lunt i and Mr. and Mrs. Mike Waters. I Saturday night at the Terrace Ballroom in Salt Lake City, the Cedar couple attended a reception recep-tion for Jaycees and their partners part-ners held in noner oi tne National Nation-al President Mr. Robert Conger. Also honored was the National Vice president from Riverside, Calif., Mr. Rex L. Flint. Sunday morning events offered Religious services, business meetings meet-ings and a noon luncheon with President Conger delivering a stimulating speech to the group in attendance. The afternoon was designed for the purpose of conducting unit meetings led by Individual national directors and vice presidents from various areas. ar-eas. During the Jaycee business meetings, the Jaycee wives were entertained at events planned for ladies only. The group representing represent-ing the Cedar City club returned early Monday after a very successful suc-cessful trip. |
