Loas Teacher Visits Iron County Schools Siboune Raddavong, fifth grade teacher from Loas, spent two weeks visiting the Elementary Ele-mentary Schools of Iron County. Coun-ty. He was sponsored by the Teacher Improvement Program of the U. S. Office of Education, Educa-tion, Health and Welfare. He was assigned to the South Elementary School where he observed teaching methods, organization and curriculum functions, of the school. Most of his time was spent in the fifth grades. Mr. Raddavong also visited visit-ed the North and East Elementary Ele-mentary Schools while in Cellar Ce-llar City and lie joined the teachers in their mid-year institute in-stitute on January 27. He was much impressed with the schools and the community. He was escorted through the hospital by Mrs. Delia Garfield, Gar-field, public health nurse. He visited a large grocery store while in Cedar City. He was the guest of Mr. and Mrs. Clcmont B. Adams while he was in Cedar City. |
