Show Cedar to Host Wrestling Meet this year, who wrestles in the 10G pound division. Other strong hopes for the Redmen include Ken Atkins, a junior in the 138 pound class; Fred Adams, a senior, in the 145 division; Elvin Cox, a senior at 154 and Evan Jones, also a senior, weighing in at 180 pounds. Other possible entries for Coach Wright will include the following: 112 pound, Donnie Adams, junior. 120 pound, Steve Foisy, sophomore, 127 pound, Ricky Hoyle, junior. 133 pound, Kent Peterson, senior. 165 pound, Kevin Matheson, junior. The regional meet will bring together teams from every school in the Region. Admission Admis-sion charge for the moot is $1 for adults and 50 cents for students with activity cards, Wright stated. Delta High School Rabbits are odds on favorites to defend de-fend their Region Wrestling crown Friday and Saturday in Cedar City at the Region Eight Wrestling Meet. : Cedar City Redmen will host the regional event which will get underway at 4 p. m. Second Se-cond round of wrestling is slated at 8 p. m. Friday in the High School gymnasium and the championship matches match-es will be held at 2 p. m. Saturday Sat-urday afternoon. Saturday evening at 7 p. m. a series of wrestle-backs will be held to determine second place winners and final en- tries into the state class B' meet. The Rabbits of Delta have dominated the wrestling picture pic-ture in the class B ranks for the past several years and the 1967 team is undefeated in a series of dual meets this season. Delta will be pressed hard-est hard-est by an inter-county rival, the Millard Eagles, for the team crown, it is expected. As for the Cedar High Red-men, Red-men, Coach Rex Wright has high hopes of placing as high as five men in the state finals the following week at Delta.
