Show Cheryl Lynn Stubbs Is Parowan F.F. A. Sweetheart CHERYL LYNN STUBBS By Jerry Robinson - Saturday, Feb. 11, the Parowan Paro-wan chapter of Future Farmers Farm-ers of America held their annual an-nual Sweetheart Ball. As you probably know, there is a Sweetheart contest held with this event. There were eight contestants contest-ants in the contest, and each was very qualified for this honor. The Chapter is proud of its Sweetheart this year, Miss Cheryl Lynn Stubbs, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Howard Stubbs. The first attendant was Miss Jeannie Dalton, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Warren War-ren A. Dalton, and the second attendant is Miss JoAnn! Fvnn5 Hancrhtpr nf Mr nnri Mrs. Norman Evans. j Miss Stubbs is now reigning as Miss Iron County and has been very active in the high school, especially in the field of music. The Sweetheart will be presented pre-sented with a Sweater with the FFA emblem on it. Also she will be taken to Salt Lake City this spring to compete in the Sweetheart contest at the annual FFA State convention. Her expenses will be paid by the chapter. i The Parowan FFA chapter has another important activity coming up this month, their annual Parents and Sons' Banquet, which is set for Feb. : 25. ! |
