Show Heart Attack Takes Frank Obersansley rormer superintendent of Zion National Park, Francis Reed (Frank) Oberhansley, 70, died of a heart attack at his home in Boise, Idaho, Wednesday, Wednes-day, Feb. 8. Oberhansley began his career car-eer in the National Park Service Ser-vice in 1934 as a ranger at Yellowstone Park. Since then he had worked in Sequoia National Na-tional Park, and was superintendent superin-tendent at Hawaii and Grand Teton National Park before becoming be-coming superintendent of Zion Park. He retired while at Zinn tr malfp hie hnma In Boise. He was a member of the LDS and a member of the Cedar Ce-dar City Rotary Club while affiliated af-filiated at Zion Park. At the time of his death he was a member of the Boise Rotary Club. He is survived by his widow, Lucile Lant Oberhansley, and one daughter, Mrs. Mark (Carol) Smith, Boise. Also surviving sur-viving are four grandchildren, a brother and three sisters. , Funeral services were held in Boise Friday, Feb. 10 and burial was in Ogden, Utah, Monday. |
