Show CSU Ward Captures Berth In All-Church College of Southern Utah Fourth Ward won their way into the College Division of the All-Church Basketball tournament Thursday night when they traveled to St. George to meet Dixie College Third Ward. The CSU crew defeated their rivals for the All-Church berth by a score of 90 to 48. The picture was not as rosy as the final score in the first i quarter of the game. Top scorer was rugged Paul Horton of CSU with 24 points. He was followed by Roger Murdock with 17, Don Johnson with 10, Scott Thaxton with 11. Bon-dixsen Bon-dixsen of the Dixie Third Ward was high for the losers with 17. The 16 man team College Division of the All-Church will play in Calt Lake City February Fe-bruary 20 through 25. |
