Show BISHOP SCANLAFS VISIT. Head of the Salt Lake Diocese to Hold Services Tomorrow. Rt. Rev. L. Scanlan, bishop of Ihe Catholic diocese of Salt Lake, arrived from Austin this week, accompanied by Father Sheehan of Austin, and will hold services at St. Patrick's church tomorrow. From here the bishop will go to Goldfield and Bullfrog. Father Butler announces that ' the examination of candidates . for-- confirmation con-firmation will be conducted by the 'y, : bishop at the church at 1 o'clock this afternoon. Bishop Scanlan will be assisted as-sisted by Fathers Butler and Sheehan. ! It is desired that parents accompany i heir children. The presence of the bishop and visiting priests will afford ample opportunity to both the candidates candi-dates for eonfiimation and others of the congregation to receive the sacra- i ments of the church. The services tomorrow will be as fol-, fol-, lows: First mass, at S 'o'clock a. m.. will be celebrated by Bishop Scanlan. Tho children will receive their first communion com-munion at this mass. Second mass, a Missa Cantata, at 10 : o'clock a. m.. will be celebrated by Father Fa-ther Sheehan. at the conclusion of which a sermon will be delivered by Bishop Scanlan.
