Show Personal. A well-merited compliment has been bestowed on Mrs. Elizabeth Donley of SOOT Julian street. Mrs. Donley has been chosen to take charge of the night classes established by the Woman's club of Denver. These classes are for the benefit of girls employed in department depart-ment stores and besides imparting instruction in-struction in all the common school branches will include special lessons in icooking rind sewing. Mrs. Donley is thoroughly equipped for this style of work and success will assuredly crown , her' efforts. In all literary movements Mrs. Donley is a. conspicuous figure, and her name is on the list of membership mem-bership of all aid societies, connected i with the church. f- The Sacred Heart Aid society met on Thursday, Nov. 16. with Mrs. Dietrich ,'and Mrs. Fitzpa trick at the home of 1 the former, 633 Twentieth street. Mrs. : ' William F. Hynes and Mrs. J. A. Os-ner. Os-ner. the committee appointed to select a hospital in which the society will furnish a room for its sick, made their report, a detailed account of which will be published later. The choice- fell to Mercy sanitarium. Many cases of hardship and suffering were reported and relief given same. Mrs. Lydia Jenkins, who died last week at Mercy sanitarium, embraced the Catholic faith on her deathbed. She came from a prominent Quaker family and had always been a faithful follower of that sect, but when stricken with her last illness requested that she be placed in a Catholic hospital. Thomas Dowd, well known in Eh'ria, is seriously ill. His mind' has become affected over worry on account of predictions pre-dictions of his physician. f In the absence of Bishop Matz next Sunday the sermon at high mass in Logan avenue chapel will be preached by Rev. H. L. MeMenamin. Mrs. Timothy Goodwin and Miss Margaret Mar-garet Goodwin of 1100 Clarkson street, left Sunday for an extended sojourn in California. ' Mr. and Mrs. Martin T. Dunn are rejoicing re-joicing over the advent of a little son, who was born Saturday morning, Nov. 11. r Little Margaret Donley, the S-vear-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. P. Donley, Don-ley, surprised and delighted her friends by playing alone at a musieale given on Saturday last by her teacher. Miss Freeland.
